Job DescriptionLocation:
Troy, MI
Shifts:
Monday through Friday Only - 8 am - 5 pm
- Perform utilization reviews in skilled nursing facilities.
- Assess patient transfer needs from inpatient to nursing facility.
- Review nursing facility cases to determine medical necessity and appropriate level of care.
- Experience with MCG guidelines (6-12 months of professional experience is sufficient).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
- Minimum 2-4 years of clinical practice, preferably in hospital nursing or utilization management.
