The Warehouse Assistant position is responsible for supporting the AMSTI program, including the building and refurbishment of AMSTI modules, maintaining the inventory of materials and supplies for the modules, and performing physical tasks associated with shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of material. The role may also include driving the AMSTI box truck.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative (AMSTI) operations by assembling and refurbishing AMSTI modules, managing inventory, and handling shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials. Operate the AMSTI box truck as needed.
Minimum QualificationsWill this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) to perform the job duties? Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility.
Work Hours8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday
Physical DemandsAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
