LG Electronics, a global technology leader, and its spun‑off unit LG Magna e-Powertrain USA, Inc. (a joint venture between LG Electronics Vehicle Solution and Magna International) are seeking a Senior S&OP Analyst in Southeast Michigan to manage end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning for our electric vehicle component portfolio.

Responsibilities

The Senior S&OP Analyst will own the complete Sales & Operations Planning cycle, aligning demand, capacity and supply to meet production goals, support OEM customers and cross‑functional teams, and drive supply‑chain performance.

Major Tasks Demand & Planning
  • Analyze EDI and PSI data from OEMs to ensure accurate visibility of demand and supply.
  • Collaborate with HQ Sales to set monthly targets and develop strategies to optimize inventory and production.
  • Conduct independent analysis of sales and operational performance on daily to yearly basis.
  • Build strong communication channels with customers to support collaboration and issue resolution.
  • liLead S&OP activities between LG Magna plants and OEMs, addressing issues and responding to support requests timely.
  • Provide S&OP solutions to resolve mismatches between materials and part numbers.
  • Participate in S&OP meetings with headquarters and engineering meetings as requested.
Supply Chain & Inventory Operations
  • Issue and manage Sales Orders (SO) and Purchase Orders (PO) in the internal ERP system, including RMA support.
  • Issue purchase orders for production MVB parts and coordinate material supply via outsourced warehouses.
  • Adjust material breakpoints based on availability and OEM requirements.
  • Apply Engineering Work Order (EWO) results in supply plans and prepare contingency plans.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to plan warehouse operations for inventory readiness and on‑time delivery.
  • Review and coordinate material labeling requirements.
Logistics & Shipment Management
  • Coordinate shipment documentation with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adjust OEM plant shipment schedules according to material readiness and PPAP status.
  • Manage expedite orders, obsolescence with OEMs, handle valid claims, and reconcile cumulative shipments versus orders.
Financial & Performance Reporting
  • Manage accounts receivable and credit lines to support planning operations.
  • Track performance results and report estimated versus actual revenue to management and headquarters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of automotive industry experience.
  • Highly organized with strong communication and process documentation skills.
  • Proficient in solving complex customer & supplier issues with alternative solutions.
  • Advanced Excel skills and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of ERP, MRP and WMS.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% internationally and domestically.
  • Willingness to work early or late hours for global virtual meetings.
Preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with OEM supply‑chain roles (S&OP, demand planning, supply planning).
  • Bilingual in Korean and English.
