Attorney​/Lawyer

Description We are looking for a dedicated Attorney to join a prestigious law firm in Troy, Michigan.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex litigation cases, including products liability and commercial disputes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling depositions, courtroom proceedings, and managing sophisticated legal matters.

Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in complex litigation cases, focusing on products liability and commercial disputes.

- Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for legal proceedings.

- Draft and file legal briefs, motions, and other case-related documentation.

- Perform legal research using tools such as Lexis Nexis to support case strategies.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative solutions for client challenges.

- Manage case files using case management software to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

- Handle courtroom appearances, presenting arguments and advocating for clients.

- Provide counsel to clients on legal matters and case developments.

- Review and analyze claims, complaints, and evidence to build strong cases.

- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to maintain expertise in litigation practices. Requirements - Minimum of two years of experience in complex litigation, preferably with exposure to products liability cases.

- Strong academic background with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in legal research tools, including Lexis Nexis, and case management software.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills for drafting briefs and presenting arguments.

- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while meeting deadlines.

- Experience handling depositions and courtroom appearances.

- Knowledge of civil litigation processes and commercial litigation principles.

- Commitment to delivering high-quality work and taking ownership of client matters.
