Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will support all HR functions and ensure that the HR department is aligned with the overall business objectives. This role will provide a variety of administrative support and assist in managing employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation, and benefits, as well as ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Employee

Relations
  • Act as a point of contact for employees’ HR-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster a positive work environment and assist with conflict resolution.
  • Support managers and employees in improving communication and teamwork.
Performance Management
  • Support the performance review process by tracking employee progress, assisting in the preparation of evaluations, and ensuring timely feedback.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of performance improvement plans when needed.
Compliance And Record-Keeping
  • Ensure the organization is in compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain employee records, including new hire documentation, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Manage HR systems and tools to ensure up-to-date and accurate employee information.
Compensation And Benefits
  • Help administer employee benefits programs (health, retirement, etc.).
  • Assist with compensation analysis and salary benchmarking.
  • Ensure employees are properly enrolled and informed about benefits packages.
  • Assist in managing leave management requests including FMLA and personal leave.
Other Duties
  • Support the HR department with various administrative tasks, such as preparing reports and managing HR-related projects.
  • Assist in managing employee recognition programs and maintaining a positive company culture.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a related role.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
Preferred Skills
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification (or equivalent).
  • Experience with employee wellness or engagement programs.
