Human Resources Administrator
Contract position located in Troy, MI with potential long‑term extension. The role will be based at Troy, MI, or the Burnsville, MN or Faribault, MN offices.
Job SummaryWe are seeking an HR Administrator to support day‑to‑day operations of the human resources department. Responsibilities include managing employee records, handling recruitment logistics, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws, serving as a key point of contact for HR inquiries, assisting with onboarding and off‑boarding processes, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities- Maintain employee records and ensure all HR databases are accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, preparing documentation and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Initiate background checks or drug screenings.
- Run standard HRIS reports (headcount, turnover, PTO balances).
- Prepare spreadsheets for tracking new hires, terminations, leaves, etc.
- Log leave start/end dates and update HRIS to reflect leave status changes.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies, supporting audits and reporting as needed.
- Safety – everyone should leave Client’s facilities in the same or better condition than when they arrived.

- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1‑3 years of administrative or HR support experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, time‑management skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of HR processes, employment laws, and confidentiality requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information professionally.
Base pay range: $24.00/hr – $28.00/hr.
