Scope of work

Under the direction of the site designate leader, coordinates and serves as a resource for staff involved in general radiology services. Assigns and monitors the quality and quantity of workflow to ensure timely completion of exams. Ensures that prescribed diagnostic procedures are performed according to departmental policies and imaging standards. Performs diagnostic images and related duties as necessary, including student clinical instruction and new employee training as appropriate.

In the absence of the site designate leader, functions as the department representative. Follows Beaumont philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

  • Required Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
  • 3-5 years clinical staff technologist experience preferred, not required.
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Upon Hire required Or ARC Upon Hire required
