We are currently seeking an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for our lab!
Job Summary
This individual will be working with cutting edge technology, compounding specialized and complex therapies within the clean room environment. In addition, they shall assist the registered pharmacist in preparing all sterile compounded medications under direct supervision. All work must be performed in accordance with USP 795/797/800 procedures and company policies.
What You Will Do
- Maintain the clean room suite per 797/800 standards, prepare and compound sterile products, assist with inventory management, and ensure proper drug disposal.
- Document IV admixtures and cleanroom suite sterile testing.
- Maintain the compounding lab in compliance with company regulations.
What You Will Bring
We're looking for individuals with a strong work ehtic and a patient-first mindset. Our ideal candidate has:
- At least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience (required)
- Sterile compounding/laboratory experience (required)
- Pharmacy Technician License (required)
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Basic math skills (required)
- Detail oriented individual with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask (required)
- Ability to work with both speed and accuracy (required)
- A degree in health science is highly desirable (complete or in progress is preferred)
Shift Availability
:
Must be available for a combination of morning (8:00am–4:30pm) and evening (2:00pm–10:30pm) shifts with rotating Saturday shifts required.
