The Nursing Resource Pool (NRP) consists of a variety of Nurses (ICU, progressive‑care, and medical‑surgical), Nursing Assistants, and Patient Observation Aides. NRP staff act as lifeguards of the hospital, being deployed throughout the facility to relieve short‑staffed areas. Their experience covers almost every type of patient, providing a dynamic learning environment for students and seasoned professionals alike.

Provide patient care assignments as delegated under the direction of a registered nurse. Clerically manage supplies and equipment in designated care areas. Deliver care consistent with the plan of care, unit routine, and hospital policy, documenting electronically. Serve as a receptionist and organize daily assignments based on unit priorities. Participate in safety initiatives, complete required safety competencies, and perform other duties as assigned.

This position requires a full week of corporate orientation. The schedule is Monday‑Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. You must attend the entire week consecutively.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of a nursing assistant program and/or one year of nursing assistant experience.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required.
• Current CNA certification preferred.
