Job Summary

Clinical Assistant4 West at Corewell Health – part-time day shift at Troy Hospital.

4 West is a 50‑bed, fast‑paced unit specializing in compassionate quality care for medical and surgical patients, including colorectal, bariatric, otolaryngology, urology, ophthalmology, orthopedic, trauma, and general surgical patients.

• Provide patient care assignments as delegated by and under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Clerical/manage supplies and equipment in designated care areas.
• Provide care according to the plan of care, unit routine, and hospital policy.
• Document patient information electronically.
• Act as a receptionist and organize daily work assignments based on unit priorities.
• Actively participate in safety initiatives and risk‑mitigating measures, completing all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Requires a full week of corporate orientation, Monday–Friday, 7 am–3:30 pm, to be attended consecutively.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of nursing assistant program and/or one year of nursing assistant experience.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required.
• Current CNA certification preferred.
