Senior Structural Engineer (Data Centers)

Jacobs is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to work on Data Center projects across the United States. The role focuses on design, analysis, coordination, and project delivery.

$ – $ per year.

• Lead structural analysis and design for new builds, retrofits, and colocations.
• Create computer models and perform member calculations, take‑offs, and miscellaneous calculations.
• Coordinate designs with internal teams and external design departments for domestic and international projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers and designers on capital projects.
• Grow technical and leadership capabilities within the organization.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer; ability to become registered in additional states.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Micro Station, S3D).
• Experience with structural analysis software (RISA, STAAD).
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and building codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Teams for remote coordination.
• Travel to client sites: 10%–20%.

• Master of Science in Engineering.
• Experience with industrial metals projects or heavy industrial projects.
• Leadership experience delivering projects on schedule and budget.
