Job Summary

Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP PP/DS production planning solutions for automotive and discrete manufacturing environments at Global IT Solutions. This role requires deep expertise in SAP S/4

HANA production planning, demand/supply planning, and supply chain processes.

• Implement SAP PP/DS (ePP/DS) solutions in automotive and discrete manufacturing environments.
• Configure and maintain S/4
  
  HANA production planning and related planning solutions.
• Design and execute interactive production planning, detailed scheduling, pegging, and constraint‑based planning strategies.
• Develop multi‑level scheduling and sequencing, model mix planning, and sub‑daily bucket planning.
• Plan cross‑location production and manage automated responses to changes in planning situations.
• Translate customer business needs into functional design and cascade solutions to offshore teams.
• Present complex ideas and concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborate with peers and offshore teams to achieve team goals.

• 10+ years of experience implementing SAP PP/DS and related planning solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP production planning, detailed scheduling, constraint‑based planning, and model mix planning.
• Hands‑on experience with cross‑location planning, automated response planning, and telescopic time bucket planning.
• Deep understanding of demand/supply planning, capacity planning, and distribution planning processes.
• Experience with end‑to‑end supply chain processes (procurement, manufacturing, logistics, inventory management).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Independent performer with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of automotive or repetitive manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and social skills with a proven ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.

• Manufacturing/Automotive domain experience.
• Experience working in onshore/offshore model environments.
• Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Generic managerial skills and the ability to cascade business needs to offshore teams.
• Proven ability to lead the implementation of SAP PP/DS solutions and maintain production planning excellence.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
