Position Overview
The graduate teaching assistant will teach Physics, Physical Science, and Astronomy labs by effective delivery of the required course materials and fostering a positive learning environment for students.
Minimum Qualifications- Must be a current Troy University student enrolled in at least six credit hours in the Master of Science in Applied Mathematical Sciences in Mathematical Physics program.
- Student positions are FICA / Medicare exempt only if students are enrolled in classes in the semester work is performed. To qualify for the FICA / Medicare exemption, you must be enrolled on a half‑time basis for the Fall, Spring, or Summer.
Experience with laboratory instruction and a strong foundation in physics, physical science, and astronomy are desired.
