Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator for the Deep South Leadership and Environmental Action Program (LEAP) will coordinate communication and general activities between Troy University faculty, undergraduate mentors, local school science teachers, and their students. The Coordinator will also assist in developing core Environmental Science curriculum for elementary, middle, and high‑school students, and help administer data collection, record‑keeping, and evaluation tools as needed.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of high school science curricula
• Familiarity with environmental science principles

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in education and/or science
• Experience working with high school students in an informal setting
• Experience organizing and executing community projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties? Driving is a primary responsibility.
