Customer Service Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to support our nationwide service operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, learning new products, and providing exceptional experiences for customers-both over the phone and in person.

You will support 24 locations across the U.S., focusing on 2-3 at a time, with a daily goal of roughly 50 outbound calls. This is primarily an outreach and follow-up position with very little inbound calling.

Key Responsibilities

+ Make outbound calls to former customers and complete assigned outreach tasks

+ Warm-transfer service requests as needed

+ Monitor service tickets to ensure prompt customer updates and issue resolution

+ Respond directly to tickets to reassure customers their requests are being addressed

+ Schedule service technicians efficiently within specific geographic areas

+ Assist walk-in customers and handle service needs on the spot

+ Learn product details to confidently answer customer questions

+ Maintain accurate documentation and follow assigned task lists

+ Collaborate with a team while also managing independent responsibilities

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ 1+ year of professional work experience

+ Customer service or call center experience

+ Comfortable with basic computer applications (MS Office, etc.)

+ Strong communication and organizational skills

+ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

+ Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn

+ Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TROY, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
