As an Entry‑Level Business Development Analyst, you will support the new business development team by assisting with research, data collection, and basic analysis of new business opportunities.
Business Development AnalystResponsibilities Include:
- Gather and organize information related to potential business opportunities within Suburban Automotive Services.
- Support the team in preparing analysis reports, and presentations on market trends, competitors, and potential partners.
- Actively participate in team meetings to observe and learn about the evaluation of new business opportunities.
- Help coordinate the flow of information between departments (such as finance, legal, HR, and administration) to ensure timely and accurate data collection.
- Maintain and update databases or spreadsheets tracking business development activities.
- Provide administrative support for ongoing projects, including scheduling meetings and preparing meeting notes.
- Build on core discipline competencies through exposure to ongoing projects and processes as directed and guided by experienced team members, including through negotiations and project assessments.
- Assist with the preparation of materials needed for meetings with external partners or internal stakeholders.
- Receive training on business development analysis tools and methods.
- Gain exposure to cross‑functional teamwork and project coordination.
- Develop foundational skills in research, communication, and business analysis.
- Participate in relevant industry groups and forums to gain exposure and experience within the relevant business areas and as a company representative.
- Adhere to Suburban Automotive Services’ DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field required.
- Strong interest in business development and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Must meet company background check and drug screen requirements.
- Approximately 90% of the time this job will be completed while sitting.
- Approximately 10% of the time this job will be completed while walking and standing.
- This position is performed in an office setting.
