Automotive Product Trainer - Little Rock​/Tulsa

JOB SUMMARY

This position contacts a territory of dealerships to facilitate product training and improve sales consultant performance. The trainer works with a comprehensive knowledge of GM brands, vision, and training priorities to conduct in-dealership training and coaching.

• Conduct training sessions in accordance with performance standards
• Responsible for product training and performance support within assigned GM dealerships
• Develop and manage schedule to support dealer needs while working with regional personnel on direction and priorities
• Conduct special training assignments and facilitate large group meetings as required
• Conduct launch training events as required
• Conduct on‑going product study and competitive reviews
• Submit schedules, rosters, activity reports and expense reports according to performance standards

• 3-5 years automotive related or automotive retail experience or commensurate experience
• In‑depth knowledge of vehicle technology, light duty truck fundamentals, trailering and infotainment systems
• Strong communication skills
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills
• Organizational skills
• Computer skills/literacy and proficiency with Power Point
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• 80% travel
• Provide training within dealerships and meeting locations
• Home office based
• Reside within assigned territory
