Ulliance is an international behavioral health and human resources service company headquartered in Troy, MI. For over 10 years, Ulliance has served as the contractor to the State of Michigan’s Bureau of Professional licensing Health Professional Recovery Program (HPRP), which monitors impaired health professionals, struggling with substance use disorders (SUD) or mental health (MH) concerns. The HPRP’s goal is to ensure public safety and assist health professionals in 28 different licensing boards, from Medical Doctors to Massage Therapists, in obtaining and maintaining long term recovery.
The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting PHM operations by coordinating essential administrative functions, assisting with State of Michigan reporting requirements, and providing valuable assistance to HPRP paneled providers and program participants. This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our mission while working closely with a dedicated and collaborative team.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive administrative support to PHM staff including copying, typing, faxing, printing, scanning, and shipping documents as necessary
- Manage departmental mail services including labeling and applying postage to outgoing mail, trips to the local post office, handling Fed Ex shipments
- Handle incoming calls on the HPRP general line delivering exceptional customer service
- Maintain general office supply inventory
- Process HIPAA protected document requests from HPRP licensees and third party agencies
- Maintain HPRP archive of charts in accordance with HIPAA and State of Michigan requirements
- Manage departmental meetings and maintain minutes from meetings attended
- Update and refine department forms as necessary
- Comply with all HIPAA regulations, guidelines, and rules
- Perform other duties as necessary
