Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team on a short-term contract basis in Troy, Michigan. This role focuses on supporting essential accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and assisting with day-to-day operations. The position will last for approximately 2-3 weeks and provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic retail services environment.

Responsibilities:

- Process and accurately enter invoices into the accounting system.

- Record and manage deposits to maintain accurate financial records.

- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

- Perform data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail.

- Utilize Quick Books software to support accounting workflows.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during financial transactions.

- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

- Provide additional support for various accounting duties as needed. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles.

- Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Strong skills in Quick Books and other accounting software.

- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

- Familiarity with invoice processing and financial recordkeeping.

- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
