VENTEON and Harvard Resource Solutions are hiring an ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST to work In Troy, MI. Work for a driven, dynamic, and future focused company!

POSITION TYPE:
Full time. Mon
- Fri 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Direct Hire. In office. PAY: $22.000 - $24.00 per hour.

Requirements of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Degree in accounting is helpful, not required. Knowledge of accounting principles needed.
• A minimum of 3 years of Accounting work experience that includes accounts payable activities is a requirement.
• Accurate data entry skills. Eye for detail. Ability to reconcile account balances.
• Good with computers. Able to login to various systems and websites to upload or retrieve information.
• Dependable person with solid time management and multi-tasking capability.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook applications.

Duties of the Accounts Payable Specialist

• Pull and upload vendor invoices and purchase orders from various websites and portals daily. Ensure all recurring monthly and bimonthly invoices and credit notes are retrieved and processed for payment.
• Monitor AP email box for incoming invoices to be entered into the system.
• Provide support for vendor inquiries.
• Input invoices into system applying specific coding. Print invoices and provide them to the appropriate person for approval.
• Print checks bi-weekly.
• Pull monthly Bank Fees information for accounting.
• Perform bank account reconciliations.
• Scan and file A/R statements.
• Provide statements for the automotive companies monthly.
• Support any projects needed to help the accounting team along the way.
