ACCOUNTING MANAGER —
ONSITE | Troy, MI

The Clark Agency is working with an amazing CFO and is seeking a right hand who has a strong accounting foundation. The company is PE backed and planning aggressive acquisition activity with a goal to triple revenues in the next 2-3 years. The role will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, assist in developing a team of accounting professionals, and drive process improvements.

This position requires multi-entity expertise as the organization has locations in 30+ states, multiple subsidiaries, and ongoing acquisitions.

The organization is investing in upgrading systems, automating processes, and integrating AI to support increased activity. This is a high-volume, growth-oriented, and creative environment.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and accounts reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements
• Reconcile bank accounts, manage refunds, and audit AR/AP
• Develop and implement internal controls

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting
• 2-3+ years of leadership experience in managing accounting teams
• Strong experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP
• Knowledge of C Corp and LLC from a tax perspective; exposure to PE, M&A, and due diligence
