We seek a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Med Surg unit. As an RN at TRMC, you will be responsible for caring for assigned patients and directing others involved in patient care. You will focus on adult and geriatric patients, utilizing a patient-centered approach to deliver comprehensive nursing care. This role demands cooperation, flexibility, and resourcefulness when working with patients, families, physicians, and hospital personnel.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients based on assessed needs.
- Demonstrate a patient-centered approach using the six steps of the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation, and reevaluation).
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols in all nursing activities.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations.
- Strive to provide remarkable service, promoting customer service initiatives to patients, visitors, and physicians.
- Current Alabama RN or LPN License required.
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire (TRMC will assist with obtaining this if needed).
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments.
- A professional, positive attitude with excellent customer service skills is essential.
- One to three years' experience preferred but not required.
