Position: Assistant Branch Manager 2

Overview

Troy Bank and Trust is excited to announce an opportunity to join our team in our Troy Legacy Market. We are looking for a full-time experienced, energetic, and motivated Assistant Branch Manager that will aid with overseeing and coordinating all operations of the branch. This position assists with managing the retail performance of the branch by providing exceptional customer service, coaching employees, and achieving sales goals while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

In addition, the Assistant Branch Manager will manage employees and lead day‑to‑day responsibilities with the potential for multiple branch locations. Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership and direction for all branch sales goals and operations.
  • Adheres to all operational and security policies, procedures, compliance with all applicable regulations and is responsible for resolution to any exceptions, violations, or escalated issues.
  • Responsible for all audit requirements.
  • Leads the branch through structured formal coaching, one‑on‑ones, regular huddles, branch meetings, and performance appraisals related to sales, customer service, and operations.
  • Leads by example and directs all retail staff in identifying and capitalizing on all opportunities and reaching and/or exceeding branch sales goals.
  • Meets all personal assigned goals as well.
  • Increases revenue and controls/reduces expenses using prudent business practices.
  • Grows the business while exceeding customer needs and expectations.
  • Manages staff schedules for branch to ensure adequate coverage, including handling last‑minute scheduling changes.
  • Remains flexible in work schedule to include opening and closing branch as needed and willingness to assist other branch staffing needs.
  • Aids other branches by sharing staffing resources and/or serving as branch manager as needed.
  • Supports retail staff in their career development with in‑house training, webinars, and utilization of all resource tools.
  • Maintains customer service standards through effective leadership and management.
  • Maintains a high level of customer service and knowledge of bank products and services.
  • Provides feedback on customer concerns relating to product features, pricing, new product development needs and servicing.
  • Engages in community and civic activities as an ambassador for the Bank.
Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training. Three or more years of experience in banking or management within a corporate sales culture may be substituted. Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates. Proven ability to provide leadership and to handle multiple priorities under time constraints. Solid working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to travel between all locations required for business meeting, interviews, employee counseling, and any other matters.
  • Ability to support multiple locations to include but not limited to:
    Troy, Goshen, Brundidge, Enterprise and Elba.
