Facilities Engineer
You will be the Facilities Engineer for the Facilities Engineering team. Our team is responsible for planning, designing, and executing the transformation of Lockheed Martin’s physical assets to support mission‑critical operations.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Facilities Engineer you will be responsible for delivering safe, cost‑effective, and schedule‑driven facility solutions that enable our programs to succeed.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead planning and design of facility reconfigurations, ensuring compliance with specifications, regulations, and mission requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and develop detailed cost estimates for equipment, installation, labor, and materials.
- Coordinate with architecture and engineering firms to create design criteria, layout, and detailed construction drawings.
- Prepare bid packages, evaluate proposals, and manage contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.
- Oversee construction inspections to verify adherence to drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Citizenship and Security ClearanceMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Work AvailabilityOnsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Employee will work on‑site full‑time.
Shift & Work ScheduleThird shift.
Work Schedule:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our paid time off benefits.
