Property & Support Services – Preventing Homelessness in WiltshireWe have a new opportunity for a Business Information Analyst and System Support Officer within our Property and Support Service. The role will focus on performance reporting, data analysis, and system support following the introduction of the new Renters Rights Act.
This is an exciting time to join us, as you will be working closely with the senior management team and our private rented sector enforcement officer to help ensure the Council is fully prepared for its new responsibilities from 1 May 2026.
Responsibilities- Understand what data requires capturing in light of the Council’s new duties and explore ways to effectively store and monitor all enforcement related activity in accordance with the Renters Rights Act.
- Act as a systems administrator for processes and security activities in our systems.
- Provide training and advice on the operation of the system.
- Develop analysis tools to generate performance and finance reports across the service.
- Support the service in submitting statutory government returns.
- Identify service risks based on data analysis.
- At least 5 years of experience in data analysis.
- Knowledge of database architecture and proficiency in using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with associated reporting applications such as Visual Studio, MS Access, and MS Excel.
- Ability to present complex information in an easy‑to‑understand manner.
- A strong eye for detail and analytical skills.
