Salary: £12.65 per hour (£24,414 pro rata per annum)

Overview

We are a welcoming and caring primary school, educating children between the ages of 5 and 11 years. Situated in the picturesque village of Keevil, we are proud of our strong links with the local community and St Leonard’s Church. Our staff are committed to ensuring all children grow and flourish, achieving their academic and personal potential while fostering health and fitness in body and mind.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and organise a range of activities suitable for primary‑aged children, taking into account their interests and developmental needs.
Qualifications
  • Passion for delivering high‑quality and exciting opportunities for children.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work with pupils, staff and parents.
  • Self‑motivated, energetic and proactive; ensure delivery of safe, high‑quality education and care.
  • Experience working with children in a play/educational setting.
  • Food‑handling experience and/or food‑handling certificate (or willingness to complete one).
  • Ability to deal with new challenging situations.
  • Strong team player able to support colleagues within a small team.
  • Positive and flexible attitude.
  • Warm and caring approach with children.
  • First‑Aid trained (advantageous).
