Wraparound Care Leader
Keevil Church of England Academy is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of our before/after‑school provision, starting as soon as possible.
Location: Keevil, Wiltshire Contract type: Permanent (Part Time)
Hours: 15 hours per week (7:35‑8:35 am & 3:00‑5:00 pm, Monday‑Friday, 38 weeks per year, no Teacher Training Days)
Salary: £12.65 per hour (£24,414 pro rata per annum)
Start date: To be confirmed Closing date: TBC
This role involves planning and organising a range of activities suitable for primary‑aged children, taking into account their interests and developmental needs, and ensuring a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children who attend.
Responsibilities- Deliver high‑quality and exciting opportunities for children before and after school.
- Plan, organise and supervise a variety of age‑appropriate activities.
- Maintain a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children.
- Work closely with pupils, staff and parents to support child development.
- Support and collaborate with a small, self‑motivated team.
- Carry out food handling duties where required (or complete a food handling certificate).
- Respond proactively to new or challenging situations.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety, safeguarding and first aid requirements.
- Passion for delivering high quality, exciting opportunities for children.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents.
- Self‑motivated, energetic, proactive and dedicated to safe, high‑quality education and care.
- Experience working with children in a play or educational setting.
- Food handling experience or willingness to obtain a food handling certificate.
- Ability to deal with new or challenging situations.
- Positive and flexible attitude.
- Warm and caring approach with children.
- First Aid training (advantageous).
