Job Title: Deputy Manager Children s Homes
Salary: £43,451 £ 50,029 per annum
Location: Wiltshire
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a children s residential home. This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting young people and leading staff teams within a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
The successful candidate will support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality care, maintaining strong operational standards, and ensuring positive outcomes for young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference, supporting young people through both challenges and achievements as they work towards independence and adulthood.
Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day management and running of the children s home
Lead, motivate, and support staff to deliver consistent, person-centred care
Promote a safe, stable, and inclusive environment for young people
Contribute to care planning and support young people to develop life skills
Ensure regulatory standards and internal policies are upheld
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years experience in residential childcare, including supervisory responsibilities
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (England)
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (desirable support can be provided)
Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months
