Car Sales Associate

Overview

Diplomat Motors is a fast-growing independent dealership in the Portland Metro area, and we’re looking for a driven Sales Representative to join our team. This role is for someone who enjoys working with people, follows a process, and wants to build a real career in automotive sales — not just “wing it.” We provide strong lead volume, a supportive management team, and a culture focused on doing business the right way.

• Work directly with customers to understand their needs and guide them through the vehicle-buying process
• Handle inbound leads, appointments, and showroom traffic provided by the dealership
• Present vehicles confidently, conduct test drives, and explain features and options clearly
• Build trust with customers through professionalism, transparency, and follow-through
• Negotiate and close deals while coordinating closely with Sales Managers and Finance
• Maintain accurate notes and follow-up in the CRM
• Represent Diplomat Motors with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional appearance

• Automotive sales experience is preferred, but strong retail or customer-facing sales experience will be considered
• Prior success in commission-based roles is a plus

$80,000 - $180,000 yearly
