Main Responsibilities
The development of automation solutions focuses primarily on the development of software for controlling plant regarding Combustion process and Reheating Furnaces;
Takeover of the programming Lev1 software and the associated tests including the functional commissioning at our customer’s premises;
Coordination and controlling of the automation engineering activities to ensure in-cost, in-time and in-quality execution.
Participation and leading of meetings with SMS internal team, Customers, Sub-Suppliers.
Requirements
Graduate or Bachelor/Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science;
Expertise in steel plants, particularly reheating and combustion furnaces
Proof of programming competence in the PLC Automation-Systems (S7-TIA , S7-400);
Rockwell, Control Logix, Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT;
Project management and project team coordination;
Knowledge of platforms for HMI system development;
Siemens SIMATIC WinCC;
Analytical competence and ability to work in a team;
Very good English language skills;
Knowledge of MS Office;
Willingness to travel worldwide
