Experience building out an electrical company

The Role As the Electrical Contractor and Qualifying Licensee, you will:
? Hold and maintain the New Jersey Electrical Contractor License (EC License) required for the company's business permit.
? Supervise, train, and work alongside electricians and apprentices to complete electrical projects safely, efficiently, and to code.
? Hire or train another licensed electrician to meet the company's growing workload.
? Oversee all electrical work performed on company-owned properties and third-party service calls.
? Work with a dedicated operations team that schedules and coordinates jobs-your focus is on executing and leading the work while reporting back any inconsistencies or field issues.
? Ensure all work complies with the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code, National Electrical Code (NEC) standards, and company safety protocols.
Ideal Background
? Active New Jersey Electrical Contractor License (EC License) in good standing, qualified to serve as the licensee of record for the business permit.
? Demonstrated experience supervising electrical crews and mentoring apprentices.
? Strong technical knowledge of NEC and NJ Uniform Construction Code compliance, permitting, and inspection procedures.
? Reliable, organized, and team-oriented with excellent communication and leadership skills.
? Clean driving record and willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check.
? Drug screening may be required initially and on an ongoing basis.
