General Maintenance Technician

• Conduct routine inspections of the locations to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as repairing and replacing doors, windows, locks, fixing plumbing leaks, painting, and replacing light bulbs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure their optimal functionality.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, identify potential issues, and repair or replace faulty components.
• Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to ensure a comfortable working environment.
• Perform carpentry work such as building shelves, repairing furniture, and installing fixtures.
• Handle painting and plastering tasks to maintain a clean and aesthetically pleasing appearance.
• Maintain and repair landscaping.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from employees, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including tasks performed, materials used, and costs incurred.
• Collaborate with other maintenance workers or contractors as necessary to complete complex tasks or projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees and visitors.

• Must have a driver’s license and own transportation.
• Proven experience as a General Maintenance Worker or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of general maintenance techniques and equipment.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and strength to handle manual tasks.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work on weekends or outside regular working hours for emergencies or special projects.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and transportation required.
• Certification in a relevant trade or maintenance field (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC) is desirable but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in a similar maintenance role is preferred.
