Job Title: RN / Registered Nurse ( Labor & Delivery / NICU )
Duration: Contract 6+ Months
Work Arrangement: Fully onsite
Location: Trenton, NJ 08608
Shift: 8am-5pm
Pay Rate: $56.00
Role & Responsibilities- Review and process birth defects registrations submitted by health care providers electronically and/or on paper form
- Ensure that registrations for completeness and accuracy of required fields
- Assign appropriate ICD-10 codes to submitted diagnoses
- Conduct follow up phone calls to paediatric offices, specialty clinics or hospitals as needed to confirm or clarify diagnoses or obtain missing information
- Document communications in the registry record
- Respond to phone calls and emails from families of registered children
- Nursing knowledge/experience in labor and delivery, NICU, birth defects, pediatrics, or maternal child health; education and license as Registered Nurse (RN); ability to conduct follow up telephone calls with medical professionals and families; knowledge of ICD-10 medical coding system.
- Licensed by State of NJ as a Registered Nurse (RN)
