United Communities is hiring full time, Preventive Maintenance Technicians with duct cleaning experience at Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst.

We are seeking a dependable and service-oriented Preventive Maintenance Technician to support our military community. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, HVAC duct cleaning, and maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable living environments for residents.
Key Responsibilities- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance throughout apartment homes and common areas.
- Conduct HVAC duct cleaning, vent cleaning, and filter replacement in occupied and vacant units.
- Inspect HVAC systems and report repair needs to the maintenance supervisor.
- Assist with unit turns, make-readies, and seasonal maintenance as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of mechanical rooms and equipment.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a professional, resident-friendly manner.
- Complete work orders and preventive maintenance logs accurately.
- Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to participate in a rotating on call schedule.
- Duct cleaning or HVAC maintenance experience strongly preferred.
- General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and basic carpentry.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong customer service skills and professionalism with residents.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to work overtime on occasion.
- Must be able to assist with snow removal on occasion.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
