Junior Data Engineer (with Angular & Data Analytics)

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in building and maintaining ETL workflows and data pipelines.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform data.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, analysts, and designers on analytics products.
• Contribute to integration of backend APIs with frontend components.
• Participate in code versioning, deployment, and automation workflows using CI/CD tools.
• Assist in testing, documentation, and data validation efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or 1 year of professional experience in a data engineering or software development role).
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python for data processing.
• Understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and basic data structures.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, or platforms like Git Hub Actions, Jenkins.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.

Preferred/Bonus Skills:

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and services like S3, Big Query, or Redshift.
• Understanding of REST APIs and how frontends connect to backends.
• Experience using basic data visualization libraries or tools (Chart.js, Power BI, etc.).
• Any internship or project experience in ETL, dashboard development, or data science workflows.
