Location: Trenton, NJ
Salary: $58,817.70 - $85,742.00
Hours: 40 hours per week

Trenton Psychiatric Hospital is an inpatient psychiatric hospital serving a diverse population of adults with severe and persistent mental illness and forensic issues. We are looking for motivated and dedicated behavior support technicians to work within an interdisciplinary treatment team to develop, implement, and monitor activities for our behavior support programs.
Responsibilities• Develop and implement behavior support activities.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress.
• Collaborate with behavior analysts and other clinical staff to provide extraordinary care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and program outcomes.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, Sociology, Guidance and Counseling, Social Work, or another similar behavior science program from an accredited college or university.
Experience: One (1) year of experience working in rehabilitation or therapeutic treatment programs for the mentally ill or developmentally disabled involving behavior support or completion of a one-year training program as a Behavior Support Technician Trainee.
License: Valid New Jersey driver’s license if operation of a vehicle is required for essential duties.
Special Note: Certification as a Board-Certified Associate Behavior Analyst issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board is required to advance to the next level in the series.
