Budget Operations Manager
The Budget Operations Manager plays an important role in enabling the success of marketing efforts in a dynamic, diverse, and growing business unit. The team member will provide a full range of financial operations support to the Global Marketing and Products teams including monthly budget management, reporting, reconciling, along with project management and other duties, as assigned. The role requires a demonstration of expert financial, collaboration and communications skills within a fast‑paced team environment, promoting knowledge sharing, best‑practices capture and dissemination, and workflow coordination.

- Ensure financial efficiency and compliance with regulations, processes, and alignment with strategy goals.
- Responsible for ongoing budget management and analysis to support informed decision‑making.
- Responsible for the monthly tracking of actuals spends and monthly reconciliations.
- Track budget performance and ensure expenditures align with approved plans.
- Identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to leadership.
- Maintain documentation and audit trails for budgetary activities.
- Maintaining and delivering accurate, timely quarterly forecast projections and other financial information as they relate to brand budgets.
- Interface with the Marketing Brand Managers and advertising agency partners as appropriate, to coordinate financial activities particularly regarding the billing and invoicing of projects and production of materials.
- Directly manage marketing and product team vendors and suppliers in ensuring submission of billing and financial documentation.
- Analyse historical data and trends to inform budget assumptions.
- Provide input, share best practices, and provide feedback to client colleagues; specifically related to Marketing Operations and Product teams.
- Serve as liaison between Finance and other departments.
- Lead or support special financial projects as needed.
- BS or BA preferred (Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field).
- At least three years of relevant marketing operations experience required. Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred, but not required.
- Must demonstrate excellent project and time management skills, as well as acumen in budget management and tracking.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams in executing tactics.
- Detailed oriented.
- Proficiency in and/or demonstrated ability to quickly learn internal billing and processing systems including SAP, Ariba, Decide Ware and Anaplan.
- Proficiency in various computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc. Advanced competency in spreadsheet development/tracking.
- High‑energy, self‑starter who has the initiatives to function autonomously, demonstrative resourcefulness, anticipate needs, prioritize responsibilities and take initiative; sharp attention to financial detail.
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player.
- Organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast‑paced, changing environment; and perform well and deliver high‑quality under multiple deadlines.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $105,. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base pay target range for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This position is also eligible for short‑term incentive compensation.
This position is also eligible for long‑term incentives.
