Interim Controller

LHH has partnered with a rapidly growing manufacturing company in Trenton, NJ in their search for an Interim Controller. This candidate will work directly with the CFO to help oversee various projects related to accounting and finance.

Are you a finance leader with a passion for driving operational excellence in fast-paced, private equity-backed environments? We’re looking for an Interim Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting for a dynamic organization in the Greater Trenton, NJ area.

• Oversee all accounting functions, including monthly close and policy implementation
• Streamline financial close
• Develop monthly financial reporting trend files for senior leadership
• Track KPIs for analysis
• Build reconciliations and schedules for fixed assets, leases, and income statements
• Perform technical accounting analyses (ASC 606)
• Conduct balance sheet analyses
• Create budgeting processes for newly acquired businesses
• Prepare year-end financial statements for audit

• CPA or equivalent preferred
• Deep experience in private equity-backed companies
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities
