Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Observe and analyze current manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement quality control processes and cost‑saving measures.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing production equipment and fixtures.
• Prepare, execute, and document product qualification testing.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of a product's manufacturing process, including assembly, packaging, and quality control.
• Educate new employees on current manufacturing and workflow processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards such as OSHA and AS9100.

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, or related engineering field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Solid Works, statistical tools, and Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent project management, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) certification is a strong plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Trenton, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $51.00/hr.
