Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

+ Observe and analyze current manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

+ Develop and implement quality control processes and cost-saving measures.

+ Evaluate the effectiveness of existing production equipment and fixtures.

+ Prepare, execute, and document product qualification testing.

+ Oversee the full lifecycle of a product's manufacturing process, including assembly, packaging, and quality control.

+ Educate new employees on current manufacturing and workflow processes.

+ Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards such as OSHA and AS9100.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, or related engineering field.

+ 3+ years of manufacturing experience.

+ Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Solid Works, statistical tools, and Microsoft Office programs.

+ Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

+ Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) certification is a strong plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Trenton, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $51.00/hr.
