Position Overview

Board: Trenton Board of Education

Title: Elementary, Middle & High School Teacher (Full-Time, 10-Month)

Salary Range: $70,075 – $114,875 annually

Benefits: Medical, Prescription, Dental, NJ State Pension Program enrollment

Location: Early Childhood Department

Closing Date: 2/8/2026

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid New Jersey Teacher Certification or eligibility for appropriate certification
• Proof of current certification must be uploaded with the application

• Develop and implement written instructional plans that meet the diverse needs, abilities, and interests of all students
• Create and maintain a classroom environment that supports learning and is developmentally appropriate
• Guide the learning process toward achievement of curriculum goals and establish clear objectives aligned with those goals
• Demonstrate a commitment to the district’s philosophy of education and its instructional goals and objectives through instructional practices and professional conduct
• Establish and maintain positive, cooperative relationships with colleagues, students, and families
• Perform other duties and assume additional responsibilities as assigned by the building principal
