Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

Description

Our client is a growing organization seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and the monthly close process. This is a great opportunity to join a stable team and have hands-on impact across core accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

+ Handle general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliations

+ Manage revenue recognition and monthly close activities

+ Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

+ Prepare and maintain financial statements and internal reports

+ Process and review payroll entries and expense reporting

+ Track fixed assets and depreciation schedules

+ Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis

+ Support process improvements and documentation

+ Work closely with management to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ 4+ years of hands-on accounting experience (industry or public)

+ Strong understanding of general accounting principles and month-end close

+

Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting

+ Proficiency with accounting software (Quick Books, Net Suite, SAP, or similar)

+ Strong Excel skills

+ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable

+ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

+

Experience with revenue recognition

+ Prior involvement in improving accounting processes

+ Public accounting or fast-paced industry background
