IT Desktop Support Technician

One of TEKsystems clients is looking for multiple qualified candidates to support their IT department’s Desktop Support team. This is a great opportunity for someone to get their foot in the door with a local enterprise company and to grow their skills within IT Support and advance their career within IT. They are currently looking for individuals who are looking to grow within their company.

Previous Helpdesk or Desktop Support or PC Technician experience is preferred. IT certifications are desirable for this role. This will be a first shift opportunity on a Contract to Hire basis.

• Deskside support, walk‑up bar deskside support hands‑on, sit on help desk taking intake calls, base line troubleshooting, hardware/software issues:

• Targeting 1‑3 years of IT Support experience
• 100% onsite role
• Has OT available
• Needs to be open to nights and weekends. (Most are 1st shift M‑F but better if open to all shifts and weekends)

L1 Example:

• Manage AD/User accounts and requests using
• Refresh PCs and complete data transfers USMT and Mig Wiz
• Perform Daily system checks including plant data centers, VMs and servers
• Troubleshooting plant network systems and infrastructure
• Assist with all onsite PC/printer maintenance and hardware issues
• Processing access requests for FIS, PFS, email, and other systems
• Deploying software packages/updates to multiple PC configurations
• Tool disconnects and reconnects through the PFCS system

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 – $19.00 per hour. Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Offered from Day One. CompTIA Certifications are desirable for this role.
