Location:

Trenton, MI plant (onsite). 0-20% travel to Kokomo, IN and Dundee, MI.

• Perform assessments for process changes and related investment requirements for cost studies
• Oversee engineering scope definition, Requests for Quotes (RFQs), sourcing, technical evaluations, design, manufacturing, and installation of manufacturing equipment
• Manage and prioritize the Non‑New Model (NNM) powertrain programs requests and ensure that approved programs are completed on time and within budget
• Manage all New Model (NM) program’s facilities aspects including site preparation and machine installation
• Lead activities on programs ensuring successful implementation and tracking of the Iron Triangle (Scope, Timing, and Cost)
• Lead their team in the implementation of Stellantis Production Way (SPW) methodology, supporting all activities including deployment of advanced SPW tools and guiding systematic root‑cause problem‑solving methods to address risks
• Develop and improve process and equipment standards related to manufacturing engineering
• Support additional plants located in Kokomo, Indiana and Dundee, MI while maintaining relationships with the North American and Global CoC initiatives
• Drive standardization across plants in all regions
• Lead procurement, design, build, install, qualification, and launch of facilities and process‑supporting equipment and infrastructure

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of manufacturing experience
• Must be able to work and interact with all levels of the organization
• Must have strong oral, written, presentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and present data to all levels of the company in easily understandable formats
• Ability to implement best‑in‑class manufacturing principles (like SPW) and lead effectively in a bargaining unit environment
• High demonstration of leadership and teamwork characteristics
• Ability to embrace cross‑functional teams responsible for developing, specifying, building, and launching powertrain manufacturing processes
• Demonstrated abilities to plan and execute large‑scale projects in time and budget
• Ability to effectively lead, teach, coach, and mentor employees
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and develop the best teams
• Ability to travel to support two other plants, Dundee, MI and Kokomo, IN
• Knowledge of advanced problem‑solving skills and ability to manage data analysis to identify root causes and close them
• Knowledge of cost studies and strategic planning a plus
• Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel intermediate or advanced knowledge

• Advanced degree preferred
• Ability to translate technical data and analysis into an executive summary format for presentation
• Powertrain manufacturing experience a plus
