Service Technician

Overview

Loyal Source is looking for a Service Technician - Security for an employment opportunity in Traverse City, Michigan.

• Conduct routine and emergency service calls to troubleshoot, replace, and/or repair equipment.
• Proctor, coach, and teach other technicians.
• Deliver high-quality customer support and provide instructions on system operation and functionality.
• Perform system testing and signal verification.
• Maintain necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).
• Utilize technical resources and materials for efficient task execution.
• Ensure progress and completion of tasks.
• Document service activities and hours worked.
• Complete and submit all task-related documentation promptly.
• Maintain a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Undertake additional projects as assigned.

• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• Three (3) or more years of experience.
• Mastery in troubleshooting commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.
• NICET II minimum
• Thorough knowledge of local/national codes.
• Proficient in using test equipment such as multimeters, battery analyzers, and decibel meters.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.

Banking experience in handling locks, vacuum tube systems, alarms, cameras, safes, time clocks, and vault inspections is a plus.

M-F, 8am-5pm

$30 per hour.
