Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate
Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $25.00/hr
Location:
Traverse City, MI
Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily by following recipes and keeping rotisserie items warm. You will wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure freshness for members. You may juggle multiple tasks and assist members with bakery orders. Your positive attitude helps create a great shopping experience.
What you’ll do- Be a Team Member:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with the team; be flexible to support business needs in other areas. - Be an Expert:
Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future and seasonal production; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution. - Be a Techie:
Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. - Be an Owner:
Drive area performance; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; reduce waste; assist customers and uphold store policies. - Be a Talent Ambassador:
Model high-quality service and products; engage with the member experience in the meat area; exhibit energy and commitment for the work. - Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards; apply Open Door Policy in work processes.
- Complete work assignments and priorities through collaboration with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; manage deadlines; identify improvement opportunities and adapt to change.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to successfully complete required trainings and assessments if selected
- Food Service knowledge;
Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) preferred
