The OpportunityWe are seeking a compassionate, motivated Associate Veterinarian to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys urgent care and emergency presentations, values teamwork, and wants to practice medicine in an environment that supports autonomy, growth, and professional fulfillment. This position offers the opportunity to practice high-level medicine without the burnout often associated with traditional emergency models.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Provide urgent care and emergency medical and surgical services for canine and feline patients
- Diagnose and manage acute illnesses, trauma cases, and acute-on-chronic conditions
- Perform diagnostics including digital radiography, ultrasound, and a full array of in-house laboratory testing
- Develop and communicate treatment plans clearly and compassionately with pet owners
- Perform soft tissue surgical procedures as appropriate (surgical interests welcomed and supported)
- Collaborate closely with LVTs, support staff, and leadership to deliver exceptional patient care
- Contribute to a culture of professionalism, respect, and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For- DVM or equivalent degree, licensed (or license-eligible) in the state of Michigan
- Interest or experience in urgent care and emergency medicine (new graduates welcome with mentorship)
- Strong communication skills and a client-centered mindset
- Ability to work independently while valuing team collaboration
- Desire to grow clinically and professionally within a privately owned practice
