Welder - Traverse Area

Salary Range: $44,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

• Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to job orders.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, or cutting surfaces.

• 2-5 years of experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Current AWS D1.1 or equivalent welding certification.
• Demonstrated understanding and adherence to all welding safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to perform visual inspections of welds for quality assurance and defect identification.

• Experience with basic fabrication techniques (cutting, grinding, fitting).
• Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., TIG, MIG, Stick).
• Ability to operate forklifts or overhead cranes.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and inspection tools.
