As a trusted partner in performing Compensation & Pension (disability) examinations for Veterans, Modern Med Health Solutions is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant to join our team.

• Review service-related injury claim(s), review pertinent medical records, perform a physical assessment of the Veteran, complete the corresponding disability questionnaire(s), and render a medical opinion(s) if needed.
• Navigate a web-based examination form in a proprietary online portal to capture patient information during the exam. Qualified candidates must be actively licensed, able to work independently and as part of a team, possess good interpersonal skills, and be flexible and adaptable to changing situations. Candidates must possess basic computer skills.
• These examinations enable Veterans with service-related health conditions to access benefits specific to their needs.
• Perform related duties as needed.
• No prescribing or treatment plans.

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in the state of applying, in good standing.
• Minimum availability of 2 days per week. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
• Comfort performing physical assessments, PAP smears, and interpreting EKG, ABI Doppler & PFT tests.

• Work-Life Balance: no on-call coverage, no after-hours, no weekend or holiday shifts.
• Support: clinic managed by a Clinic Manager and Medical Assistants; dedicated Medical Records Reviewer to assist Providers with pertinent records.
• Training: additional 1:1 virtual clinical support for completing examinations with a Provider Training Specialist.
• Malpractice and Collaborative Physician provided by Modern Med Health Solutions.

• As a 1099 Independent Contractor, compensated with a competitive shift rate.
• $750 per shift after a 90-day probationary period (full schedule/utilization).
• Paid web-based training before starting in the clinic.
• Annual bonus.
