Position: Work Services DSP - Program Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by helping them achieve their highest level of independence, earn a paycheck, build life skills, grow relationships with peers, and engage with the community. Program Managers in our Work Services department supervise participants as they work and provide quality control of GTI products and services.

Additional responsibilities also include leading engaging activities and supervising community outings. This is a support position that works directly with team members and maintains caseload paperwork. Providing encouragement and support are key functions of a Program Manager.

This is a full time, 40hr a week position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm. Lunch breaks are paid. We offer benefits that include health, dental, and vision insurance, in addition to a fantastic vacation accrual program. Paid holidays include Black Friday!

Pay range for this position is $16.00-$19.50 hourly.

We also provide an opportunity to become certified with the National Association of Direct Support Professionals. If you complete all three steps of the certification process, you will be given a $3,900 bonus!

Responsibilities:
  • Follow and uphold company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for completing and staying current in all mandatory trainings
  • Promote positive social interactions
  • Support individuals in the community, in their job, or at their job (enclaves or facility based)
  • Teach skills to expand a person's independence and progress toward goals
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, follows all safety protocols
  • Administer medications, support individuals with hygiene, and provide supervision in all settings
  • Maintain a positive relationship and adequate communication with each client's home provide, CSM, parents, guardians, and other support
  • Provide transportation with a company vehicle for work or community access
  • Complete quality control, track client work totals, plan work schedules
  • Maintains an advocacy role
  • May be assigned to work in other departments or programs
  • Any other duties assigned

Qualifications /

Physical requirements:
  • High school diploma and must be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Pass a background check
  • Must have a full range of motion, physical strength,
  • Ability to achieve and maintain training and certifications
  • Basic computer usage/ knowledge
